DUI RISK REDUCTION PROGRAM
|
|
This is an educational program mandated by law for people convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI), possession of illegal drugs, underage possession of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle, Boating Under the Influence (BUI) and various other offenses. Upon completion of the class you will receive a State of Georgia “Certificate of Completion,” to verify your completion of the class that can be used in any court or probation facility in the State, and is accepted by the Department of Driver Services for reinstatement of your license.
This course is composed of two components. The Assessment Component and the 20-hour Intervention classroom component. The total fee for both components is $292. You may pay for the components separately but the full amount must be in our office before you can attend class.
Assessment - $82 20 hr Class - $190 Study Guide Fee - $20.00
Fees are set by Georgia Law, O.C.G.A 40-5-83. No program may charge more or less. Georgia law requires assessment fees to be paid before the assessment is taken, and all class fees must be paid prior to the beginning of class.
Every student must complete the pre-class assessment & pay at least the $82 before becoming enrolled in the 20 hour class. We must have everything paid in full and all of your information in the computer by close of business on the day before the class is scheduled to begin.
Paperwork & Assessments
Students may stop by our office anytime during regular business hours, but we prefer that you schedule an appointment when you have at least 45 minutes to take the assessment.
In Snellville, we are open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM - 6:00PM (Closed for lunch from 1:00PM - 2:00PM) In Loganville, we are opened Monday, Wednesday & Friday 12:30PM - 6:30PM Our Monroe location is a satellite office, and assessments are by appointment only, every Friday at 5PM and 6PM. If you are unable to schedule an appointment during regular business hours, please let us know and special arrangements can often be made.
20 Hour Class
The DUI /Risk Reduction classroom instruction is broken up into a 3 day program.
Saturday and Sunday 9:00AM to 6:00PM (1 hour lunch break) Monday 6:00PM to 10:00PM
By Georgia law, every student must complete the full 20 hours in succession. Please be aware that the Department of Driver Services forbids any late arrivals so, please arrive early to avoid dismissal from the course.
We offer classes weekly in Snellville, Bi-weekly in Loganville, and monthly in Monroe. If you are looking for a nice, safe and clean facility with experienced instructors and a convenient location to take your class, please give us a call.
